Vehicle Builds
Our philosophy is to use the highest quality premium vendors and subcontractors for each job. The company will not be limited by our internal resources. If Vintech feels that a specialist is needed (for example, fabrication or engine tuning), that specialist will be called upon. What is important to us is that each project is managed holistically, a “whole vehicle” approach. This means that the design and engineering of the interior, exterior, and chassis of the car is planned out UP FRONT and the spec sheet and engineering follows the image we have designed, while maintaining good value and great driveability. We treat the vehicle as a group of interacting systems, not a selection of individual parts or assemblies. The whole of the vehicle is greater than the sum of its parts in the end.
1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Restomod
We have recently completed a full restoration of this one-family owned Cutlass. Purchased new in Sarasota and now with only 49k orig miles, it was repainted once to this custom mauve from it's original cream color. The daughter of the original owner wanted a reliable classic and we have delivered, with the addition of a FAST fuel injection system on the original rebuilt Rocket 350 V8. Other upgrades include larger power disc brakes, full Hotchkis suspension with Fox shocks, restored factory A/C, and a Bluetooth stereo that looks like the original head unit.
1967 GTO Restomod
Stored for over 20 years, this GTO is now being treated to wicked black paint over perfect bodywork. A 600+ hp Pontiac mill provides motivation through a Hurst Drivelines TKO 6-speed manual trans & Moser rear end. Big disc brakes, full Hotchkis Stage 3 suspension, Vintage Air, and a beautiful Italian leather & suede interior round out the package.
1994 Chevy Pickup
Original owner truck with 245k miles. We lowered the truck 4" in the front & 5" in the rear. The front got drop splindles & Hotchkis springs, and a flip kit took care of dropping the rear. Every steering component was replaced, all 4 frong control arms are new, and we went through the cooling system as well. The engine, engine compartment, frame & wheelwells were epoxy primed & painted.
1965 Mustang Coupe
This car has been in the possesion of the current owner since he was 17 yrs old. He wanted this to be his daily driver- his only car. We added FAST fuel injection to the good running 289 that was in the car. Additional work includes a full wiring harness, disc brakes, aluminium radiator with electric fan, Vintage Air, dynomat sound deadening in the interior, full Hotchkis suspension system, and power rack & pinion steering. This car drives like no other 65 Mustang on the road: so capable, cool, and comfortable.
1972 K5 Blazer 4x4
This Blazer came to us via Reno, NV and had very little rust. Some body damage was repaired and we selected a modern Chevy green color which is set off by satin black. The interior and hardtop are Rhino-lined in satin black and the small block engine was pulled out and detailed. The truck is a 4-speed manual and we installed a new clutch. The front framerails & suspension were stripped, epoxy primed and painted with durable chassis black paint.
1968 Mercury Cyclone GT Concours Restoration
We are restoring this Cyclone to factory specifications for a very particular Canadian customer. Every nut, bolt, piece & part has been stripped, epoxy primed and painted to match exactly what the car looked like when the car rolled off the assembly line. The body is lazer-straight and sports the original color "Grecian Gold". The engine is a rebuilt 390 with some 428 Cobra Jet parts hiding inside!
